The Make America Healthy Again Commission report seeks to prioritize whole foods instead of ultra-processed ones.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a 2024 presidential candidate, has released a report titled "The Maha Report," which claims that the U.S. food supply is contaminated with over 12,000 chemicals, including pesticides, heavy metals, and hormone disruptors, leading to widespread health issues such as cancer, autism, and obesity. The report, compiled by Kennedy's Children's Health Defense organization, accuses the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of failing to protect public health by allowing these chemicals in food. Kennedy's findings are based on data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and he calls for stricter regulations and more transparency from food manufacturers to address what he describes as a public health crisis.
