An employee at a Checkers restaurant in Kissimmee is in jail after investigators say he gunned down a customer at work.
A 22-year-old employee at a Checkers restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida, named Javontee Brice, was arrested in connection with the shooting deaths of three individuals in separate incidents across two counties. Brice allegedly killed a woman in her early 20s in Kissimmee, followed by a man and a woman in their 60s in Bunnell, Florida, before attempting to flee to Georgia. He was apprehended in northwest Georgia after a manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies. The motive behind the shootings remains unclear, but authorities believe Brice knew all three victims.
