Kennedy, has raised concerns about the safety of synthetic food dyes, particularly Red 40 and Yellow 5, which are commonly used in processed foods. He argues that these dyes, which are derived from petroleum, may be linked to health issues such as hyperactivity in children, cancer, and other diseases. RFK Jr. is advocating for a ban on these synthetic dyes and is pushing for the use of natural alternatives. He has launched a campaign called "Moving Past Red 40 and Yellow 5" to raise awareness about the potential dangers of these additives and to pressure food manufacturers and regulators to take action.
