The Green Bay Packers made a surprise stop at Friends With Food, a local food pantry in Waukesha, as part of their Tailgate Tour, which takes place April 8-12.
The Green Bay Packers, in collaboration with the Hunger Task Force, surprised the Waukesha Food Pantry with a visit and a donation of 500 pounds of food, including fresh produce and pantry staples, as part of their "Packers Give Back" initiative. This event, which took place on a Wednesday, aimed to support the community and address food insecurity, especially during the holiday season. The pantry, which serves around 100 families weekly, was grateful for the donation, noting that it would significantly help meet the increased demand they experience during this time of year. The Packers' visit not only provided essential food supplies but also boosted morale among the pantry's volunteers and clients.
