Lewisville FD Dive Team recovers body from Copperas Branch Lake

The Lewisville Fire Department's dive team recovered the body of a man from Copperas Branch Lake on Saturday morning after he went missing while swimming the previous night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday when the man, who was swimming with friends, did not resurface. His friends attempted to find him but were unsuccessful, leading to a call to the police. The search resumed at 7 a.m. the next day, and the man's body was located around 9:30 a.m. The identity of the man has not been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
