Cody Bellinger, the New York Yankees' outfielder, was scratched from the lineup for their game against the Detroit Tigers due to food poisoning, as reported by MLB.com. Bellinger, who had been performing well with a .280 batting average and five home runs in his first 20 games with the Yankees, was replaced by Trent Grisham in center field. The Yankees, who were looking to maintain their strong start to the season, faced the Tigers without one of their key players, hoping for Bellinger's quick recovery.
