A forklift operator was fatally crushed at a wine storage facility in Geyserville, California, on July 20, 2023, when a large wine storage tank fell on him while he was operating the forklift. The incident occurred at the Rohnert Park facility of Wine Storage Solutions, leading to an immediate response from emergency services, though the operator was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office and Cal/OSHA are investigating the accident to determine the cause and ensure workplace safety compliance.
