  • Nacogdoches HOPE makes changes to continue feeding more than 500 families every week.

The Nacogdoches food bank is adapting to the challenges posed by high food prices and limited food options by making several adjustments to its operations. Due to increased costs, the food bank has had to reduce the amount of food distributed per visit and is now focusing on providing more non-perishable items. Additionally, they are working closely with local farmers and grocery stores to secure more donations and are encouraging community members to volunteer and contribute to their efforts. These changes aim to ensure that the food bank can continue to serve the community effectively despite the economic pressures.
