The family of a 27-year-old forklift operator, Javiel Lainez Zavala, is mourning his death after he was fatally crushed by a forklift at a construction site in San Francisco. The incident occurred on May 17, and despite immediate response from coworkers and emergency services, Zavala succumbed to his injuries. His family remembers him as a hardworking and dedicated individual who was the primary breadwinner, leaving behind a wife and two young children. The accident is under investigation by Cal/OSHA, and the construction company, Plant Construction Company, expressed condolences and is cooperating with the investigation.
