Jurors found a St. Louis man guilty in court Tuesday for pistol-whipping multiple employees at a Steak 'n Shake over his food order.
A St. Louis man, Dejuan Allen, was found guilty of pistol-whipping and robbing a woman in her home in 2021. The incident occurred after Allen, who was armed, forced his way into the victim's apartment and demanded money. He struck the woman multiple times with his gun, causing severe injuries, before fleeing with her belongings. The jury convicted Allen of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, and first-degree burglary. He faces a potential life sentence, with his sentencing scheduled for May 31.
