  • The escapees range from 19 years old to 42. Most of the men are in their 20s.

On July 29, 2023, eleven inmates escaped from the Orleans Parish Justice Center in New Orleans by breaking through a cell wall and exiting through the jail's roof. The escapees, identified as Travon Johnson, Omar Lewis, Kirkland Warren, Avery Guidry, Kendall Williams, Justin Holmes, Larry Davis, Benjamin Coleman, Shedrick Williams, and two others not named in the report, are considered armed and dangerous. The public is urged to call 911 if they spot any of these individuals, and a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to their capture. The escape has prompted an investigation into the security measures at the facility, with Sheriff Susan Hutson stating that they are working to understand how the breach occurred and to recapture the escapees as quickly as possible.
