Wine theft led to felony charge under Prop 36

A man named Caleb Aaron Gibson from California was charged with felony burglary after allegedly stealing over $1,600 worth of wine from a Total Wine store in Louisville, Kentucky. Gibson, who was caught on surveillance footage, entered the store, selected several bottles of wine, and left without paying. He was later identified and arrested in California, where he admitted to the theft during a police interview. Gibson is currently being held in San Diego County Jail, awaiting extradition to Kentucky to face the charges.
