Despite her condition worsening, she waited over 12 hours for a bed and was eventually diagnosed with a cyst on her ovary. Her partner, Lee Canning, expressed shock at the hospital's conditions, and the incident has sparked an investigation by the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, which apologized for the substandard care and acknowledged the need for improvements in their emergency department.
