SharkNinja recalled 2,030,640 of its Ninja Foodi pressure cookers due to serious safety concerns. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says more than 100 people were injured, with some suffering third-degree burns.
SharkNinja has recalled approximately 70,000 units of its Foodi Pressure Cooker due to a faulty inner pot that can cause burns, following 31 reports of the pot breaking, including 17 burn injuries. The recall affects the 6.5-quart and 8-quart models sold between March 2020 and January 2023 at major retailers like Amazon, Kohl's, and Walmart. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled cookers immediately and contact SharkNinja for a free replacement inner pot, with instructions on how to safely dispose of the defective one.
