The Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro in Farmingdale, New York, is closing its doors after 15 years of operation. The owners, John and Lisa Kourgelis, announced the closure with "a heavy heart" due to the challenges of running a small business in the current economic climate. The bistro, known for its cozy atmosphere, live music, and extensive wine list, has been a beloved local spot since its opening in 2008. The final day of service will be January 28, 2024, and the owners expressed their gratitude to the community for their support over the years. They are now looking to sell the business, hoping to pass on the legacy to someone who will continue to nurture the community spirit the bistro has fostered.
