Food bank seeing 'steady increase' in demand

This surge is attributed to the end of additional SNAP benefits and the rising cost of living, which have strained household budgets. The food bank's CEO, Beth Gaglione, highlighted the critical situation, noting that many families are forced to choose between buying food or paying for other essential expenses. To address the growing need, the food bank is seeking more donations and volunteers, while also advocating for policy changes to support food-insecure communities.
