'Volley of wine bottles.' Morgan Hill police describe melee at Safeway

On June 17, 2023, in Morgan Hill, California, a dispute over loud music at a birthday party escalated into violence when a group of uninvited guests, who were asked to leave, returned and threw wine bottles at the partygoers. The incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m., resulted in injuries to three individuals, including a 17-year-old girl who was hit in the head and required hospitalization. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived, and the Morgan Hill Police Department is currently investigating the case, seeking public assistance to identify and apprehend those responsible.
