Cameron Diaz's former assistant, who worked for her from 1995 to 2003, revealed in an interview with The Sun that Diaz was a demanding boss who expected her to be available 24/7. The assistant, who remained anonymous, claimed that she was once fired and rehired within the same day after Diaz had a change of heart. The assistant also stated that Diaz was generous, often giving her expensive gifts and taking her on trips, but the job was stressful and she was relieved when she was eventually let go.
