Climate change is challenging agriculture in Nigeria, Africa's most populous country. The north accounts for most of the nation's agriculture, but farmers there say once-reliable water bodies are drying up.

In Nigeria, the drying up of the Rivers Niger and Benue, attributed to climate change and the construction of dams upstream, is severely impacting local farmers and communities.
