The Southeast Missouri Food Bank is launching a new mobile food pantry in response to food insecurity in Cape Girardeau County.

The Southeast Missouri Food Bank is launching an evening mobile food pantry in Cape Girardeau to better serve working families who cannot access daytime distributions. Starting June 24, the pantry will operate every fourth Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Osage Centre. This initiative aims to address food insecurity among those with daytime work commitments, ensuring they have access to necessary food resources. The food bank encourages community members to spread the word about this new service to help reach those in need.
