Nonprofit New Leaf Foods offers a free series May-September to learn more about sustainable gardening.

The Seymour Park Food Forest in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, is launching a new "Free Garden Harvest" series starting May 18, 2025, where community members can pick fresh produce for free every Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon through October. This initiative, supported by Outagamie County and the Grand Chute Parks Department, aims to promote healthy eating and community engagement. The food forest, established in 2023, features a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and is designed to be a sustainable, self-sufficient resource for the community. Visitors are encouraged to take only what they need and leave some for others, fostering a spirit of sharing and sustainability.
