SoftwareOne announces deal to buy Norwegian rival Crayon

SoftwareOne, a Swiss IT services company, has announced its agreement to acquire Norway's Insight Enterprises for $1.1 billion. This acquisition aims to expand SoftwareOne's footprint in the Nordic region and enhance its capabilities in cloud computing and IT solutions. Insight Enterprises, known for its expertise in digital transformation and managed services, will help SoftwareOne to better serve its clients with a broader range of technology solutions. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2023, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. This move is part of SoftwareOne's strategy to grow through acquisitions and strengthen its market position in key technology sectors.
